Hamster Monoclonal Antibody Reactive With Notch1

Tech ID: 18672 / UC Case 1999-092-0

Abstract

The Notch receptors have distinct roles in cell fate determination in different organ systems. Investigators at University of California, Berkeley have developed a monoclonal antibody against mouse Notch1 protein.

Applications

Can be used to detect Notch1 protein by immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, and western blot.

Advantages

Hamster monoclonal antibody raised against mouse Notch1 protein (region EGF repeat 33 through LNG repeat 1).
The antibody also reacts with rat Notch1 protein.
